Terms of Service
These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and MassKode LLC for your use of Kamba AI. Please read them before you start chatting with Kamba.
1. Who we are
Kamba AI (“Kamba”, “we”, “us”) is a product operated by MassKode LLC. You can reach us at hello@trykamba.com. By messaging Kamba or using our website, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. What Kamba is — and is not
Kamba is an AI companion that helps international students organise life abroad: keeping track of visa paperwork, deadlines, official fees, housing checks and similar tasks, primarily through WhatsApp.
Kamba is not:
- a law firm, immigration consultancy or a licensed immigration adviser;
- a bank, money-services business acting on its own, or a government agency;
- able to grant, guarantee or influence any visa, permit or admission decision.
Only governments decide visas and immigration status. Anyone promising a guaranteed outcome is not telling you the truth. Where a matter needs a licensed professional, Kamba will tell you plainly and point you to one.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian) and able to enter into a binding agreement. You agree to give accurate, current and complete information and to keep it up to date.
4. Using Kamba through WhatsApp
Kamba is accessed mainly through WhatsApp, a service provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by WhatsApp's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. We are not responsible for the availability of WhatsApp itself.
5. Payments and fees
Chatting with Kamba is free to start. Some actions involve third-party official fees (for example government or application fees). Where Kamba helps you pay these:
- the amount and exchange rate are shown to you before you confirm;
- you receive a receipt in the chat;
- Kamba may charge a clearly-stated service fee for completing a task — you only pay for what you ask us to do, with no compulsory upfront package.
Official third-party fees are generally non-refundable once paid to the relevant authority. Questions about a charge? Email hello@trykamba.com.
6. Your responsibilities
- Use Kamba lawfully and only for your own genuine applications.
- Do not submit false documents or ask Kamba to help with anything illegal.
- Review important information yourself and confirm official requirements with the relevant authority or a licensed professional before you rely on it.
- Keep access to your WhatsApp account and devices secure.
7. No professional advice
Information from Kamba is for general guidance and task assistance only. It is not legal, immigration, financial, tax or other professional advice, and it does not create a lawyer–client or adviser–client relationship. Always confirm decisions that affect your legal status with a qualified professional.
8. Your documents and content
You keep ownership of the documents and information you share. You grant MassKode LLC a limited licence to process them solely to provide the service you requested, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
9. Service availability and changes
We may update, suspend or discontinue features to improve or maintain the service. We may also update these Terms; if we make material changes we will post the new version here and update the date above. Continuing to use Kamba after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Kamba is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that any application will succeed or that information is error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MassKode LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the specific task giving rise to the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using Kamba at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are breached or if required to protect users, the service or comply with law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
