About Kamba
Kamba is the AI companion that walks an international student through the whole arc of building a life abroad — from admission letter to first job.
Why we exist
Moving to another country to study is one of the hardest things a young person can do — and nobody hands you a manual. The visa file, the fees you can't pay with a local card, the landlord who wants a bank account you can't open without an address, the work-hour rules that two official pages disagree on. Most students end up crowdsourcing their entire legal and financial life from a group chat, an old forum post, and an agent a cousin once used.
Too often that agent takes the money and disappears. We built Kamba because getting abroad shouldn't depend on who you happen to know, or on paying a fortune to a middleman who may never file your paperwork.
What Kamba does
Kamba lives in WhatsApp — nothing to download. You text, send a voice note, or forward a suspicious listing, and it handles the parts you dread:
- guides your visa file form by form, and drills you before the interview;
- pays official fees like SEVIS and CAQ in your own currency, with a receipt in the chat;
- checks apartments for scams before any money leaves your account;
- tracks deadlines, work-hour limits and OPT windows, and texts you first;
- stays with you the whole journey — visa, arrival, housing, money, work, first job.
What we believe
- Honesty over promises. Only governments decide visas. Kamba guides, prepares and organises — it never guarantees an outcome, and it tells you plainly when you need a lawyer or your international office.
- Accountability. A human is always reachable, every step has an audit trail, and your documents are never sold or shared with agents or recruiters.
- Fair by design. Free to start; you only pay for the tasks you ask Kamba to complete — no compulsory upfront package.
- In your language. Text or voice in English, French, Pidgin and more — whatever you'd use with a friend.
Who's behind it
Kamba AI is built and operated by MassKode LLC. We start with the West Africa → US & Canada corridor and grow from there, guided by what actually gets students approved. Questions, ideas or partnerships? Email hello@trykamba.com.
